Ruth Olga Perez, age 86, passed away Nov. 22, 2014 at The Key West Health and Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness. Ruth was born Sept. 16, 1928 in Key West and was the daughter of Adolfo and Virginia (Fabregas) Boza. She was a lifetime resident of Key West and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Allen E. Perez Sr. and two brothers, Marvin and Danny Boza. She is survived by her son Allen E. (Ann Marie) Perez Jr. of Key West, brother David Boza of Sarasota, Fla., and two grandchildren, Marina and Jered Perez. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, to please make donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, N.Y. 10001. Grave side funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Keys Cemetery, Big Coppitt Key. Dean-Lopez Funeral Home Key West is entrusted with arrangements.
