A daughter of the late William E. and Florence Chamberlin Schwamberger, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar C. Virgin in 1972 and her step-son, Everett Virgin.
Ada baked wedding cakes and was a member of Dry Run Church of Christ, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 424 and White Shrine.
She is survived by three daughters, Gayle Detillion and Nellie Book both of Chillicothe and Janet Parker of West Portsmouth; three sisters, Margie Logan, Bonnie Staggs and Judy Staggs all of Friendship; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
