Paul peacefully passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, in Merced, California, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Merced and graduated from Le Grand High, Class of 1969.

He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. Paul worked at Foster Farms, Knight's Trucking, and most recently Merced Screw Products before retiring.

He enjoyed fishing, was a Raider's fan, avid gardener, and enjoyed spending time with his family and was a dedicated member of St. Patrick's Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Eleanor Moreno, brothers, Bernardo, Jesse Jr, Manuel, and Gabriel Moreno.

He is survived by siblings, John Moreno (Mary), Tony Moreno (Frances), Concie Moreno (Priscilla), Albert Moreno (Alta), Mary Moreno, Lupe Arce (Daniel), Dolores Valdez), Daniel (Anita), and Theresa Garcia (George); also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved.

Visitation will be at 5 PM on March 21, 2016, at St. Patrick's Church, 671 East Yosemite Avenue, with Rosary following at 6 PM.

Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016, 10 AM, at St. Patrick's Church.

Burial will be at 1 PM at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California.

Reception will follow at 2:30 PM at St. Patrick's Hall in Merced.

Arrangements are entrusted to Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, Merced, California.
