Helen Nadine Hale, 84, passed away March 17, 2016 in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was born to William and Annie Lee (Crow) Alexander July 20, 1931 at Dela, Oklahoma.

Nadine married James Fredrick Hale December 14, 1946 in Paris, Texas. She has lived in the Antlers area for her whole life except eight years. Nadine was a homemaker and mother to her ten children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, visiting with her family and friends, reading, and birdwatching.

She is preceded in death by her husband James "Fred" Hale; her parents; sons: Ricky and Leon Hale; brothers: Harme Lester Alexander, Olen Alexander, and Edward Alexander; sisters: Lizzie Lee Tabor, Edna Mae Hatcher, Eva Dicy Alexander, Juanita Cummings, Victoria Songer; daughter-inlaws: Bonnie Hale and Jeanetta Hale.

Nadine is survived by her children: Bobbie Smith of Antlers, Steve hale and wife Carolyn of Coushatta, Louisiana, Connie Simolke and husband David of Antlers, Eddie Hale and wife Kathy of Milfay, Oklahoma, Marvin Hale of Bristow, Oklahoma, Wendell Hale of Stroud, Oklahoma, Loretta Cottrell and Amy Taylor and husband Jake all of Antlers; 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister: Mable Hanks; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday March 21, 2016 at Antlers Church of the Nazarene with interment following at Dela Cemetery; Pastor Donnie Wing and Pastor Larry Crawford will be officiating.
