MARGARET PEARLINE AKERLEY, age 78, formerly of Auburn Hills, died March 4, 2016. Margaret was born on July 7, 1937 in Missouri, daughter of the late Pearl and Nora (Smith) Wood. She was married to Frank Akerley who preceded her in death in 2011. She was a longtime member of Five Points Community Church and currently a member of Community Baptist Church. Margaret taught Sunday School for years at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hazel Park. She was retired from Champion Spark Plug. Margaret is the loving mother of Douglas (Dolores) Akerley, Donald Akerley and the late David Akerley; 5 grand children, and 1 great grand child. Also survived by a sister Lena Tyson and 2 brothers, Gary Wagner and Rodney Wagner. .. Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
