Albert Ploeckelmann, 47, a former resident of Calumet County, died Thursday morning at Minneapolis, according to word received here by his brother, August Ploeckelmann.
The deceased was born in Branch, Manitowoc County, August 24, 1892, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ploeckelmann. He attended elementary school at Branch and after at Gravesville when his parents moved to a farm in the town of Charlestown.
Mr. Ploeckelmann learned the barber trade in Manitowoc and had engaged in tonsorial work in Minneapolis for the past 15 years. He was also a musician at one stage of his life.
Mr. and Mrs. August Ploeckelmann and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Paulsen drove to Minneapolis Sunday to make the funeral arrangements. The remains will be brought to Chilton where a private funeral was held at the Pfeffer Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial was in the family lot in the Branch cemetery.
