The available history of "The Oasis" dates back to 1938 when Alex Steinhauer purchased the bar from Bill Jones.

Alex Steinhauer worked for his brother Alfred from 1946 and bought the business from him in 1961.

The Oasis is most famous though for its tacos, served on Tuesday & Thursday.

Jerry Torres has carried on the Taco tradition since be purchased the bar in 1983.

As the Oasis and in the 1963 Diamond Jubilee Edition said, the Oasis is the place to meet in Sanger!
