OnOct 30, 1851, James Dawdy,(Isabelle's father) died and according to his will,Isabelle and Bartlett Boydstun inherited all property with the condition that they keep and care for her mom, Margaret Morse Dawdy (James Dawdy's widow) until her death abt 1855). About 1860 several of Bartlett's siblings and their family's moved to Texas, but Isabelle and Bartlett moved back to Abington, ILL where they lived out the remainder of their days.
Isabelle died in 1868 and was buried at the Boydstun-Dawdy Cemetery in Abingdon.
In 1870 Bartlett was living with his daughter Mary Polly and her husband John Kellum in Abingdon, Know, Ill.
I am assuming Bartlett was buried along with his wife at
Boydstun-Dawdy Cemetery
