Rebecca “Becky” Buse Lacy, 49, died Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born July 24, 1966 in Tupelo, MS to Ralph Buse and Ruth Martin Buse. Becky was a Medicare Coordinator employed at North MS Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. She was a horse enthusiast all of her life. She worked with the youth in 4-H Horse Shows and was a member of several horse-riding clubs. She was most proud of her children, Austin and Kaitlyn and their achievements. She was a member of Hayseed Cowboy Church in Thaxton.
A memorial service celebrating her life and home-going will be at 2 PM, Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Hayseed Cowboy Church with Joey Moody officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the many 4-H youth she has influenced and inspired through the years. Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo Chapel is assisting the family.
She is survived by her two children, Austin Tyler Lacy of Ingomar and Kaitlyn Olivia Stacy of Tupelo; two brothers, Larry Buse and wife, Mary Jane and Rodney “Bubba” Buse and wife, Lisa, all of Saltillo; sister, Rhonda Buse Small and husband, David of Long Beach, MS; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand-nephews; special friends and extended family, Paul Carruth Family.
