Mrs. Ryan was born in Sharon on Aug. 21, 1928, a daughter of Pasquale and Susanna (Longo) Engrao.
Lovie, as she was affectionately known, was a graduate of Hickory High School and cosmetology school.
She was a devoted office manager working with her husband at F. Leo Ryan Insurance Co. for many years.
Mrs. Ryan also was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and was known for her “world class” cooking talents by all who knew her.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of nearly 67 years, F. Leo Ryan, at home; her children, Dennis Ryan, Youngstown; David Ryan and his wife Cheri, Sweet Valley, Pa.; and Susan Ryan and her husband Sean, Fort Wayne, Ind.; and her seven grandchildren, Caitlyn, Michael, John, James, Peter, Morgan and Kylie.
Entombment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
