Mrs. Raper was born Jan. 2, 1948 in Denison, the daughter of J.L. and Sylvia (Bothe) Burgin. Aneita was a homemaker and previously a hair stylist. Thunder her beloved cat will miss her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and sister. Aneita will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Raper is survived by her loving family: children, Clayton Dale Cunningham, Holly Reneé Nunley and husband Steve, Shandi Jaylene Morris and husband Kennon; grandchildren, Asa Benton Hall, Chris Nunley, Jesse Nunley, Zadrian Morris, Andronica Morris and Amarise Morris; father, J.L. Burgin; sister, Jan Pannell and husband Keith of Gordonville; nieces and nephews, Jihl Davee of Denison, Jacob Mathews and wife, Mandi of Denison, Keith Pannell Jr. of Austin, Angela Williams and husband, Troy, and Deidra Pannell. Aneita Kay was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Burgin and husband, Freddie Raper.
Mrs. Raper was cremated according to her wishes. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Brown officiating. There is no set time for family visitation.
