American Singer, Songwriter, Conductor, and Actor. Born Francis Wayne Sinatra to Frank Sinatra and his first wife Nancy Barbato. Sinatra’s career started early and by his teens he was already performing in local clubs and venues. In December, 1963 Sinatra was kidnapped from Harrah’s Lake Tahoe. He was released after two days when Sinatra’s father paid a $240,000 ransom. His captors were later caught and prosecuted and convicted of the crime. At age 19, Sinatra was the vocalist for Sam Donahue’s band as well performing with his own band in Las Vegas. Sinatra’s album discography included ‘Young Love For Sale’ (1965), ‘Spice’ (1972), ‘His Way!’ (1973), ‘It’s Alright’ (1977), ‘As I Remember It’ (1966), and ‘That Face’ (2006). Sinatra also had numerous credits for vocal singles, as well as writing, composing, and musical direction. Like his father, Sinatra’s career also included television and film work. His early appearances included ‘The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour’ with his sister Nancy as well as hosting a summer replacement for ‘The Dean Martin Show’. Other credits included ‘The Patty Duke Show’ (1963), the motion picture ‘A Man Called Adam’ (1966), ‘Alias Smith and Jones’ (1972), ‘Adam-12’ (1972-1974), ‘Marcus Welby’ (1973), ‘The Love Boat’ (1979), ‘Hollywood Homicide’ (2003), and ‘Family Guy’ (2006-2008). In 1988, Sinatra placed his own career on hold to become his father’s musical director and conductor. A position he held until the elder Sinatra’s death in 1998. Sinatra married once in 1998 to Cynthia Murray but the marriage ended in divorce. He had one son, Michael Sinatra, from a previous relationship. Sinatra died unexpectedly from cardiac arrest while on tour in Daytona Beach, Florida. Besides his son, Sinatra was survived by his mother Nancy and his sisters, Nancy and Tina.
