Mrs. Wilbur Grandia
Mrs. Helen May Grandia, wife of Wilbur Grandia, died at her home in Lincoln township at 11:45 p.m. Friday, December 13, 1940, at the age of 41 years following a short illness. Besides her husband, a son, Howard at home, and four sisters survive. The sisters are Mrs. Virgil Schakel of Chanute, Kan., Mrs. Arthur Bruinekool of Pella, Mrs. Virgil Boyd and Mrs. Mac McCarthy of Oskaloosa. Funeral services at the Powers funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. J. A. Morse of the First Baptist church in charge. Burial in Forest cemetery. -- Oskaloosa Herald
