Elsie Catherine Hollweck Parry, born January 22, 1910 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joseph (Joe) and Catherine (Katie) Spindler Hollweck. Died October 4, 1996 in Salt Lake City.

Married Jesse Harmon Parry, May 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City. He died October 26, 1985. Elsie was in the restaurant business with Jesse for 40 years, until retirement in 1973. Elsie was the only lady who had ever been president of the Apartment Association of Utah. Also a member of the Board of Directors. She also served as president of the Women's Division. A graduate of LDS Business College and very civic minded, she belonged to many organizations among which were the Utah Mother Club, Salt Lake Mothers and had served as president of the University of Utah Mother's Club. Jesse and Elsie traveled the United States as far east as New York and as far west as Hawaii, where they had been many times. Attending almost every National Apartment Association Convention. Owners of Airlines Food Inc., they traveled to Mexico City for Conventions with Western Airlines for catering business serving the airlines. Enjoyed the hobby of miniatures with her daughter, Jeanette. Member of the LDS Church.

Survived by daughter, Jeanette P. Kresser; two grandsons, Michael (Mike) Parry Kresser, Ronald (Ron) C. Kresser and his wife, Teri; great-granddaughter, Kandice Kresser; and great-grandson Clayton Richard Kresser.

Graveside service only at the Parry family plot in Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, on Tuesday, October 8th, at 12 noon under direction of Larkin Mortuary. Private family viewing.

In lieu of flowers, please give to Primary Children's Medical Center in Elsie's name.
