He was born in Garfield, NJ, son of the late John and Katherine (Andrizal) Gall. Joseph was a Merchant Marines veteran of World War II and retired as a carpenter from Piedmont & Brunnelli. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the Italian Benefit Society. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, New York Giants, and the UCONN men's and women's basketball teams. He also enjoyed golfing. Joseph is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Russell J. and Laurie Gall; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynn M. and William Morrison, and Joanne Gall, all of Stafford Springs, CT; six grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Mark, Melissa, Michael, and Matthew; a sister, Anna Choma of Willington, CT; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Irene Gall of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Emil Gall, John Bacha, and Steve Bacha.
