SPRINGFIELD, IL – Joseph V. Casper, 75, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at St. John's Hospice.
He was born May 6, 1938, in Springfield, to Louis and Alvina (Lesauis) Casper.
He married Elizabeth Candage on June 20, 1959.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Steven Casper, a sister and a brother.
Joe worked as Supervisor of Fleet Maintenance at CWLP for 31 years.
He was a member of Christ the King Church.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter; daughter-in-law; brother; sister; four grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2014, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Bob Green officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
