Donna L. Lawson, 72, of Lebanon, died Sunday, March 13, 2016, in Springfield.
She was born July 3, 1943, in Alamartha, Mo. to Walter and Charlene Forney Redmon, who preceded her in death.
On June 26, 1965, she married Gary Lawson.
She worked at various local sale barns and was a cashier at Wal-Mart for several years. Donna was active in the Laclede Country Right to Life, serving as chairman and wrote their newsletters.
Donna L. Lawson was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Lawson; two sons, Benjamin Lawson, of California, and Timothy Lawson, of Lebanon; two daughters, Angela Jones and her husband, Alan, of Lebanon, and Leslie Mather and her husband, Brian, of Carthage; four brothers, Cari, Redmon and his wife, Joyce, of Springfield; Howard Redmon and his wife, Conchita, of Springfield; Dennis Redmon and his wife, Debbie, of Little Rock, Ark. and Ed Redmon and his wife, Kathy, of Rogersville; one sister, Anita Hood and her husband, Jerry, of Cabool; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Donna L. Lawson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Don Ball officiating.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brighton Cemetery in Brighton, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
Memorials have been established to Brighton Cemetery or to Tabernacle Baptist Church Missions.
