Mrs. Mary Teresa Toon, age 87 of Fancy Farm, Ky passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11:05 AM at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tn.
She was a Homemaker, and a member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church. She was a graduate of the Mt. St. Joseph Academy.
Mrs. Toon is survived by her five daughters- Mary Lou (Tommy) Curtsinger of Mayfield, Ky, Doris Poole of Union City, Tn, Teresa (Jerry) Griffith of Mayfield, Ky, Carol (David) Clapp of Mayfield, Ky, and Beverly Bone of Fancy Farm, Ky; two sons- Charles (Laura) Toon, Jr. of Cunningham, Ky, and David Toon of Fancy Farm, Ky; three sisters- Rosie Hayden of Fancy Farm, Ky, Geneva Buckman of West Virginia, and Ursula Thompson of Owensboro, Ky; one brother- Elmer Elliott of Fancy Farm, Ky; 13 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband- Charles L. Toon; three sons- Jimmy Toon, Leo Toon, and Bobby Toon; 4 brothers and 3 sisters; parents- James B. & Anna M. Cissell Elliott.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome Catholic Church in Fancy Farm with Fr. Darrell Venters officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Carlisle County. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the St. Jerome Catholic Church, where prayers will be said at 6:30 PM on Friday.
