Zachary was born Sept. 29, 1992, in Lee's Summit, the son of Robert Paul and Heather Renee (Sidebottom) Burton. He was an eighth grader at Harrisonville Middle School.
Zach's hobbies included fishing, video games, skateboarding, four-wheeling and he was learning to play pool. He attended wrestling camp this past summer and was looking forward to wrestling at school this year.
Surviving are his mother, Heather Burton, and her significant other, Don Arthur, Harrisonville; two half brothers, Leo Dalton Arthur, and Eric Jacob Arthur; his maternal grandmother, Jeanne Sidebottom, Harrisonville; maternal grandfather, Charles Sidebottom; great-grandmother, Nadine Sidebottom, and uncle, Michael Sidebottom, Harrisonville.
Additional survivors include his father his father, Robert P. Burton, and stepmother, Miranda Burton; a half sister, Katy Marie Burton, Texas; four stepsiblings, Cody Munroe Dickerson, James Michael Tye, Dakoda Tye and Theresa Tye, all of Pleasant Hill; his paternal grandfather, Larry Burton, Harrisonville; paternal grandmother, Audry Koechner, and husband, Carl, Carrollton; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
