She was born March 7, 1951, in Isleworth, Middlesex, England, to Donald Ezra and Kathleen Joyce Hill Blake. She graduated from high school in Syracuse in 1969.
She moved to Syracuse in 1963 and returned in 1970. In 1977, she was appointed as a district magistrate judge for the 25th Judicial District of Kansas.
Survivors include two brothers, Richard Blake of Liberal, and Kenneth Blake of Syracuse; and three sisters, Debra Lane of Trinidad, Colo., Sharon Godfrey of Magee, Miss., and Christine Blake of Garden City. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Graham W. Blake; and a sister, Vicki L. Blake.
Funeral will begin at 1 p.m. MDT Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Syracuse. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery.
