Valerie Adams, 48, died Friday, February 17, 2006 at her residence. The Chatham County native was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Edgar Lucree. Survivors: husband, Steve Adams of Rincon; a daughter, Terri Adams of Rincon; mother, Terry Lucree McGahee of Augusta; two sisters, Angela Lucree Waddell of Rincon and Traci Lucree P:itts of Augusta; a brother, Thomas Lawrence "Larry" Lucree of Martinez; nieces and nephews, David (Marla) Lucree of Rincon, Ashley and Harry Pitts of Augusta, Tommy, Christopher, Damon, Justin and Ryan Lucree of Martinez; great nieces and nephew, Kayla Lucree, Savannah and Kayden Nales and several aunts and uncles.
