Susan married first,1858, George W. Dixon who died in the Civil War. She married Edward Frederick, a veteran of the Civil War, in 1866. The family relocated in Purcell, Oklahoma in 1889 and Edward built the "Frederick Building".
Edward and Susan traveled to Washington in 1907 where son, John, had settled. Susan died and was buried buried along the way. Edward was buried in Washington circa 1910.
