Susan Frances Lionberger was the first child of John Henry Lionberger and his first of three wives, Christina Kite. Susan had a brother, Henry M.(possibly Michael for his Grandfather, Michael Kite). John's second wife, Susannah Kite, a sister of Christina, gave birth to two children. Upon her death John married Tabitha Frederick who gave birth to nine children. At one time all thirteen children were in the care of Tabitha.
Susan married first,1858, George W. Dixon who died in the Civil War. She married Edward Frederick, a veteran of the Civil War, in 1866. The family relocated in Purcell, Oklahoma in 1889 and Edward built the "Frederick Building".
Edward and Susan traveled to Washington in 1907 where son, John, had settled. Susan died and was buried buried along the way. Edward was buried in Washington circa 1910.
