HASKELL -- Nancy Flo (Ratliff) Plunkett, 75, of Haskell, died Friday, September 29, 2006, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2006 at First Christian Church in Haskell with Dusty Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery, under the direction of Holden - McCauley Funeral Home of Haskell. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Nancy was born on February 13, 1931 in Haskell to Dennis Pace Ratliff and Buelah Audrey Golden Ratliff. She attended Texas Christian University and Abilene Christian University. Nancy married Eugene Plunkett on April 10, 1972 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a lifetime member and past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Cox Post # 221, a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Womens Auxillary, and worked for many years in the concession stand on Bingo night. She was also a member of the American Cancer society, the Progressive Study Club and a lifetime member of the First Christian Church. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by: her husband, Eugene Plunkett; two daughters, Rebecca S. Malaise and husband, George "Butch" of Midland, and Kathy A. Parker and husband, Sid "Tooter" of Haskell; two step children, Bill Plunkett of Naples, Florida and Jennifer Kerns of Austin; three grandchildren, Myra Ann Casey and husband Mark, Sara Rebecca Parker Decker and husband Marty, and Robert Spencer Malaise; and eight step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Mason Cole Casey, Marley Cate Casey and Addisyn Grace Bates; two Sisters, Eva Jo McMillin of Abilene, and Beunis "Sister" Thigpen and husband Dr. Joe of Horseshoe Bay, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
