Sadie Helen Lott-Haines was born in Minnesota where her hard-working parents were farmers and more. Her father was a carpenter and a farmland developer, likely selling properties at a profit. They moved to Pawnee, Oklahoma where they built an amazing farmhouse and attempted to settle. Sadie grew up here, but many of her siblings planted roots in Canada. Sadie's parents moved to Canada to be with family after his health was failing. Sadie got a job in cannery (I believe) up there where she met the love of her life; William Arthur Haines. They journeyed through life together (much like her parents) buying tiny fixer-uppers and upgrading them for a profit; always finding opportunities. They built their final home together in Vista, CA complete with gardens and chickens. They had 4 children, James Addison Haines (died as a baby), William Kenneth Haines, Clifford Edward Haines, and Patricia Mae Haines.

To my Great Grandma Nan, you are loved and missed. I hope this little bio does justice to your loving memory.
