Born March 17, 1906 in Renner, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2002 in McKinney, Texas. Preceded in death by parents, Malcolm Welborn Norton & Florentine Wells Norton & brothers, and sisters, Mary Lucille Norton, Madison Wells Norton, Rose Adeline Armstrong, William Malcolm Norton; beloved friends, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Angle. Survived by niece, Earline Thomas of Carlsbad, New Mexico; two nephews, Jack and Bob Norton of Denton, Texas; and dear friends, Sue and Paul Parker of Allen, Texas. She taught first grade for forty-three years in Renner (1929-1939) and Allen (1939-1972) both in Texas. She retired from teaching in 1972. She has an elementary school in Allen, Texas named in her honor (Frances Elizabeth Norton Elementary). Frances joined First United Methodist Church of Allen in 1952, also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, the Frisco Chapter of the Eastern Star, and the Retired Teachers Association. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 29, 2002 at First United Methodist Church of Allen, Texas. Restland Funeral Home Cemetery Crematory Mausoleum Rembrandt Florist 9220 Restland Rd.
