Janis Rose (Kinsey) Miller, 84, of Bremen, left this world at 8:15 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2016 surrounded by love and a debt of gratitude for being the best wife, mother and sister one could hope to have. Janis was born on December 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Harold and Lucille (Lentz) Kinsey.

She did her part to make the world a better place from her daily acts of kindness towards others, her involvement with St. Paul’s Lutheran church in Bremen and her volunteer work with the Right to Life organization. Through example, she taught her children to be loving to everyone and follow the golden rule, to enjoy the simple pleasures of life -bicycle and eat popcorn!! - and to laugh every day.

She will be missed terribly by her husband of 63 years, Daniel Lee Miller, her brother, John Kinsey of Constantine, Michigan, her children, Steven Miller (Janell) of South Bend, IN, Linda Miller (Isham) of Austin, TX, Alan Miller (Becky) of Glidden, IA, and her 4 wonderful granddaughters, Elizabeth and Allison Miller, Kelsey Mills and Tessa Miller.

Janis was taken home to Jesus who by grace through faith in his shed blood and resurrection redeemed her for eternal glory. Goodbye dear wife, mother, sister, and grandma! Ride your bike right on through those pearly gates of heaven!

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 17, 2016 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
