Mrs. George W. Behrens, Rock Island, life resident of this city, died suddenly at 10 o'clock in her home yesterday morning. She was born Feb, 25. 1888, In Rock Island as Miss. Louisa Koehler, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Koehler, and was educated in Rock Island schools. She was married to Mr. Behrens April 6, 1911, in this city.
The widower survives; also a son, William, at home; two brothers. Christian and John Koehler, both, of Rock Island; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Peterson, Mrs. Susie Linn and Mrs. Minnie Kalwon, all of Rock Island. Her parents and a brother preceded Mrs. Behrens in death.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, its altar society, the Daughters of Isabella and the auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The body is at the Wheelan funeral home, where services will be held at 10:15 o'clock Wednesday morning, and at 10:30 o'clock in St. Joseph's church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 o'clock tomorrow night at the funeral home.
