Founder of National Indemnity Company.

Classmate of Henry Fonda in 8th grade at Saunders Elementary School.

An avid tennis player. At one time held the record for most Nebraska state doubles titles (17), and perhaps his record still stands.

Almost beat a young, up and coming, Bobby Riggs in a tennis tournament in Kansas City. Ringwalt later realized that Riggs had intentionally played poorly so as to get favourable odds in his next match against nationally ranked Wilmer Hines. Riggs and his friends cleaned up by taking a large number of bets against Riggs in that following match that Riggs won easily over Hines.
