DAVIS, Walter J.
Walter J. Davis, 61, Ramona, Oklahoma, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 1954, in a local hospital.
Davis was born December 3, 1886, at Vinita and moved with his family to this vicinity where he had spent the remainder of his life.
He was employed by the Prairie Pipeline Company on April 1, 1919, and worked for that company since that time.
Davis is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Woody Clark, Enid, Oklahoma, Mrs. Homer Dick, Casper, Wyoming, Mrs. Orville Simpson, Coleman, Texas, Mrs. E. D. Brown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mrs. Orvil Seymour of Hutchinson, Kansas; two sons, Bill Davis of Ramona, Oklahoma and Roland Davis of Silverton, Colorado; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be held at 10:00 1m.m Monday, in the Friends Church at Ramona, Oklahoma, with the Rev. Ralph Lemmons officiating. Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery under the direction of the Keeley-Neekamp Funeral Home.
