Geneva "Jake" Richardson, 101, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was a native of Summit, Ky and a member of Summit United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Richardson; her parents, Lapsley E. and Elizabeth Richardson; a son Donald Richardson; 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by a son, George H. (Ruthie) Richardson of Owensboro; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Richardson of Danville; a sister, Ruth Mattingly of Hammond, IN; special friend and sister-in-law, Wanda Lively; half sister Rosie and half brother Lowel; her granddaughters, Monica Payne, Donna Richardson, and Teresa Cooper; grandsons, Harold Richardson, Greg Richardson, Tim Cooper and Larry Cooper; 14 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. Her funeral will be 11 am Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home with Revs. Rose Marie Jones and Ken Jessee officiating. Burial will follow in Summit United Methodist Church Cemetery.
