Donald W. Aaron, Sr

He was the son of the late Goodwin and Beatrice Davis Aaron and was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a member of the New Union Church of Christ. He served his country with the US Navy during WWII and Korea and was well known for being generous to a fault. A graduate of East Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Aaron joined the FBI in 1952. He had passed the bar exam and received his license to practice law. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtis J. Aaron; two brothers, Troy Aaron and Charles Aaron. He is survived by two sons, Donald Aaron, Jr. of Nashville, Tennessee and Doug Aaron of Manchester, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Alexandria Aaron, Bradley Dalton, Luke Aaron and Ben Aaron; two sisters, Joann Trewhitt of Chattanooga and Helen Jones of Cleveland. Donald died at the United Regional Medical Center at age 80.
