Anna Magness: Anna Florence (b. 13 Nov 1861) is the illegitimate child of Hiram W. Chase and Hester A. Stout. Hester is Sarah E. Stout's sister. Sarah was married to William H. Jaquette. Hiram and Hester did marry on 25 Dec 1861 about a month after Anna Florence was born. Before Anna was born Hiram and Hester had twins, Annetta and Arletta (b. 17 Feb 1859). After they were married they had Emery born 1862 and Emma born 1863. Hester died 23 May 1867. After her death Anna, Annetta and Arletta went to live with William and Sarah Stout Jaquette. They raised them and gave them their last name.

"Magness died at a local hospital at the age of 61 years. Funeral services will be held from the Rigdon Mortuary, Saturday at 1:30 o'clock. Internment in Lee Mission Cemetery."
Anna was listed as an inmate at the Oregon State Insane Asylum in the 1920 census.
