Minnie L, King, 69, of Georgetown, passed away in Temple on Wednesday, September 27, 2006.
Minnie was born December 4, 1936, in Killeen, to Burt and Jessie Jackson Ellis.
Minnie married Edward King on July 17, 1954, in Georgetown.
She is survived by her children; Steve King and wife Melinda, Sharon Whitt and husband Larry Sr., David King and wife Alicia and Sandra Taylor; grandchildren, Larry Whitt Jr., Stephanie King, Chris Carroll, Laura King, Leann Hildebrand (Jeffrey), Tammy King, Crystal Taylor, Kacie Brunty and Kelsea King and great grandchildren, Marshall Hildebrand, Hayley Whitt, Dezurai Martinez, Raven King, Brandon King and Bailey King. She is also survived by her sister, Wanda Vrabel and husband Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her sisters; Alma Buchanan, Wilma Armbrister, Juanita Johns and her twin sister Winnie Bell Ellis.
Minnie retired from the City of Georgetown, where she worked at the police department and as a clerk in the Municipal Court.
