Carl F. Meyer, 84, of Lincoln, passed away at 11:57 a.m. March 12, 2016 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
Carl was born April 7, 1931 in Menard County, Illinois, the son of Fred and Elizabeth (Kozinna) Meyer. He married Donna Meyer on Sept. 2, 1953 in Springfield. She has since preceded him in death.
Carl is survived by his children, David (Kathie) Meyer and Maribeth (Barry) Keir; his sister, Ruth Moss; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew.
Carl was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Werner.
Carl was the owner and operator of the Mel-O-Cream Donut Shop for 52 years.
