Carlos Antonio Holden was born October 3, 1989 in Sheffield, Alabama to William F. Holden and Carol Madden Holden. Carlos departed his life on March 8, 2016 at 3: 19 PM, at Shoals Hospital. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Thomas R. Sparks. He graduated from Hazlewood High School in 2008 where he found his love for football (#44). Carlos attended Alabama A&M University and also Calhoun Community College with a major in engineering and a minor in Business Management, all while working at Wayne Farms. His determination awarded him to be a team leader, he received accomplishments of Employee of the month, and Perfect Attendance for the year of 2014 and 2015. Carlos was preceeded in death by his grandparents Hardy and Gladys Madden. His great grandparents: Reba Hood, Pharo Cambelle. Great grandmother Mary Holden Harris and uncle Gary Madden.

His precious memories of his life will be cherished by his loving parents: William F. Holden (Brenda) and Carol Madden Holden and (Kennith) a friend to his father Aretha. Six brothers: Royrecus Madden, Casey Holden both of Town Creek, Alabama. Brandon Miller, Darian Miller andTony Garrett of Germany. Three sisters: LaKresha Holden and Azaria Garrett of Decatur, Alabama and Justice Madden of Town Creek, Alabama. His loving grandparents William and Carrie Holden of Decatur, Alabama. Six aunts: Shirley (Bobby) Davis of Leighton, Alabama, Chris Madden of Sheffield, Alabama, Ann (Jerry) Green of Town Creek, Alabama. Carolyn Holden, Linda (James) Allen, and Kasandra Holden all of Decatur, Alabama. One uncle Hardy Madden of Leighton, Alabama. Six great aunts, Five great uncles, three nieces, six nephews and a host of cousins and friends. A special friend Stephanie Hayley and the entire class of 2008.
