Served in the U.S. Army Intelligence during World War II and was a member of the State Bar of Texas for more than 50 years. Proprietor of the Arnim & Lane Mercantile Store established in Flatonia, Texas, by his father in 1886. Preceded in death by his parents E. A. Arnim, Sr., and Paula Marberger Arnim. Survived by a niece and many cousins.
