Thomas Janovsky, Jr. age 49, of Kentland, Ind., formerly of East Chicago, passed away Mon., Sept. 27, 1976 at the Home Hospital, Lafayette. Survivors: wife, Marion; three sons, Thomas III of Berwyn, III., Larry (Kathy) of East Chicago and Michael at home; two daughters, Peggy and Molly, both at home; mother, Frances of East Chicago; one brother, Frank (Eileen) of East Chicago; five sisters, Helen (Frank) Kaminski and Irma (George) Shulock, both of East Chicago, Ann (James) Ladra of Gary, Phyllis (Charles) Hosiery of Virginia and Barbara (Tim) Zander of Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services Thurs., Sept. 30, 9:30 a.m. from the Oleska Funeral Home, 3934 Elm St., East Chicago and 10 a.m. from the Holy Trinity Croation Church with Msgr. Paul Bogovich officiating. At rest at St. John Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may call Tues. 7 to 9 p.m. and Wed. 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Janovsky was a retired Captain of the East Chicago Fire Department; presently Administrator of the Kentland Nursing Home; past President ol the Kentland Rotary Club; veteran of World War II; member of the American Legion Post 23 of Kentland and the Mental Health Assoc.
