Ron "RC" Christensen, 57, of New Ulm, died Sunday, March 13, 2016, at his home.
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m., Friday, March 18, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Pastor Jo Anne Taylor officiating. Inurnment will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.
RC is survived by his sister, JoAnn (Larry) Kopischke of North Mankato; brothers, Wayne (Junita) Christensen of Waconia, Dave Christensen of New Ulm; nieces and nephews, Lori (Javen) Mosenden, Loren Kopischke, Lance Kopischke and Corey Christensen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronald Ray Christensen was born September 16, 1958, in New Ulm, to Willard and Viona (Solseth) Christensen.
Ron's employment took him to many states including Minnesota, Texas, Arizona, California and Colorado. His employers included Elixer Industries, oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, Valley Roofing, Crysteel, Pietsch Construction and Minnesota Valley Testing Labs. He also worked as a custom painter.
RC loved motorcycles, convertibles and being around people.
