Ethel S. Hair, 89, of 2172 Newville Road, West Pennsboro Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1998 in her home.
Born Jan. 22, 1909 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Alfred P. and Susie Jacobs Wolf and the widow of Charles D. Hair.
A 1928 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1929 graduate of Beckley Secretary College, Harrisburg, she was a former employee of Carlisle Shoe and Swid Brothers, both in Carlisle. She was a member of West Hill United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hair is survived by a son, Kenneth of Carlisle; a brother, John Nelson Wolf of Carlisle; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle with the Rev. Iva O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery.
