Martha Ann McAlister Bowman, age 81, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away on March 11, 2016 at Lincoln Care Center. She was born on January 27, 1935 in Lincoln County, TN, daughter of the late Erskin & Annie Harrison McAlister. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: James Nelson Bowman; sons: David Bowman and Jeff Bowman; sister: Mary Wayne Malone; and brothers: Larry McAlister and Paul McAlister. Mrs. Bowman is survived by her daughters: Kelly & David Mooney and Amy Phillips; sisters: Ruth Jean and Clintelle Bates; ten grandchildren: Christina & James Cowan, Amanda & Cody Jolly, Melissa Bowman, Nate Mooney & Lindsey Cobb, Katie Mooney, Ryan Phillips, Jack Phillips, DJ & Bradley Thompson, Becca Tanner, Reed Tanner; and great grandson: Jeremiah Cobb. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Don Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
