CARLISLE - Dr. James W. Green, 64, of 1005 Harrisburg Pike died Tuesday in Carlisle Hospital.
He was a retired general practitioner of medicine at the Dunham Army Hospital at Carlisle Barracks and a graduate of Western Maryland College in Westminster, Md., and the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the American Horticulture Society.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Higgins Green; three sons, Michael P. of Mechanicsburg, Timothy D. of West Bath, Maine, and James W. Jr. at home; a sister, Marjorie Brubaker of Carlisle; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10: 30 a.m. tomorrow in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kutz Church Cemetery, Middlesex Twp.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Memorial Fund, Community and Home Health, 117 N. Hanover St., Carlisle 17013, or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St., Carlisle 17013.
