Marie Pappert Mrs. John (Marie Keim) Pappert, formerly of St. Nicholas, died Friday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Loretta Brennan of Ashland, New Jersey. Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Ellen (Grady) Keim, she was born in Yatesville Patch and spent much of her married life in Ellangowen, where she reared her family and resided until the striD mines wiped out most of the village in the latter 1940s. She and her husband moved to St. Nicholas and lived there until their health failed in recent years. Her husband died last July. Surviving with her daughter are two sons: Francis and Eugene, both of Oak Valley, Wenonah, N.J., four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Viewing Sunday 7-9 p.m. at the - Sullivan Parlor in Shenandoah, where the funeral starts at 10 a.m. Monday, with mass at 10:30 in St. Canicus Church, Mahanoy City, and burial in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights.
