Lillie Blondena Berdine, age 79, of Mount Vernon died Sunday August 10, 2003 at the Laurels of Mount Vernon. She was born August 15, 1923 in Freedom, Pennsylvania to Cellie Clifford Hinzman and Sylvia (Milam) Hinzman and has been a resident of Mount Vernon since 1995. She had been employed at Berdine's Fruit Market in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Surviving are her brother Paul Hinzman of Mount Vernon; 3 sisters Rebecca Blair and Nora (Doyle) Patterson both of Mount Vernon and Eva (Edward) Dougherty of Parkersburg, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Berdine and 2 sisters Juanita Hinzman and Velma Jividen.
