Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Prattville Memorial Chapel with Brother Bryan Easley officiating. Burial will follow at Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Don Mead. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Mead; one daughter, Kathy (Shawn) Konda; one step-daughter, Karen (Brian) Sanderson; three sons, Mark (Ling) Mead, Dan Mead and John (Brenda) Mead; two step-sons, Glenn (Cindy) Fryer and Kevin Fryer; extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial on Friday evening, March 11, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
