Keith Robert Cline, 46, of Morganton, NC died Friday, March 11, 2016. Born in Burke County on October 8, 1969, he was a son of Bernice Franklin Cline and the late Harvey Lee Cline.

Keith was a member of Nebo Baptist Church, Hickory Outdoor Group and was a Boy Scout leader. Keith loved his family and friends and lived life to its fullest. He also loved his job and work. Keith enjoyed being out in nature and seeing waterfalls. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, liked ice hockey, kayaking, and listening to punk rock music.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Cline is survived by sons, Turner Cline and Dixon Cline, both of Marion; the mother of his children, Michelle Wilson Cline of Marion; brother, Harvey Cline and wife Deborah of Hickory; sister, Karen Adele Clarke and husband William of Cullowhee; niece, Amanda Cline of Asheville; and nephews, Tyler, Will and Evan Clarke of Cullowhee.

In addition to his father, Mr. Cline was preceded in death by an infant sister, Sarah Elizabeth Cline.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 14, 2016 from 1p.m. – 3p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the Colonial Chapel at 3p.m. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
