Age 85, of Union Grove passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha. Rose was born February 16, 1931 to Frank and Rose (nee Cisler) Zaic in Waukesha County. Her early life was spent in Wales where she attended Wales State Graded School. Rose went on to graduate from Waukesha High School and Teachers College in Union Grove. She then went on to earn her Bachelors Degree at UW Whitewater. Her first teaching job was at Magee Genesee, WI. On June 13, 1953 she was united in marriage to the late Keith W. Dawson at Atonement Lutheran Church. Keith passed away May 7, 1987. Following their marriage they resided in Union Grove. Rose taught at the Union Grove Elementary School for 28 years, retiring in 1993.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith, son Richard Dawson, and siblings; Elmer Zaic, Frank Zaic and Agnes Zaic.
