.
Wife of:
.
1) John Stark, whom she married on June 1, 1741, at Bozrah, New London, CT.
.
2) Capt. Jonathan Willard.
.
Per Pawlet for 100 Years, Capt. Jonathan Willard had three wives:
1) Sarah Childs (d. 1750 in Colchester, CT)
2) Unknown Hough
3) Widow Stark (d. 1804). This is incorrect.
Jonathan Willard m. 2) widow Sarah Taintor on 21 Dec 1752 in Colchester, CT, and she died there 25 Dec 1754. However, her maiden name was not Hough.
His third wife was Sarah Hough, the widow of John Stark.
.
Note: It is also incorrect that the third wife died in 1804. When Jonathan Willard made his will in March 1803, he did not name a wife. And when he was deemed "non compos" a few weeks later in April 1803, and awarded a guardian, there was no wife to act as guardian. So, presumably his third wife had already died by this time, which conflicts with the information in Pawlet for 100 Years.
