BURTON, Laura J. "Jo" age 90, of Harveysburg, passed away Fri. March 11, 2016. She was 1943 graduate of Harveysburg High School. She was a member of the Harveysburg Ladies Auxiliary VFW Johnny Burton Memorial Post 1646 and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was also a secretary at Peoples Building and Loan in Lebanon for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed in 1997; her parents Carl and Jenny Osborn; sons Johnny Edward and Mark Douglas Burton; sisters Helen Cain, Mary Boerstler, and Martha Plummer; and her brother Charles Osborn. She is survived by her grandson Johnny (Becky) Griswold, great grandson Cody Griswold both of Oregonia, sisters Anna Belle Clark and Jennie Runyon of Harveysburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Funeral services at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville
