Willard Cooper, 80, of Cohutta, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Vigi Cooper; sisters, Ruby Lewis and Mary Long; brother, R.L. Cooper.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cooper of the residence; sons and a daughter-in-law, Rod and Deborah Cooper of Chatsworth and Jeff Cooper of Cohutta; brothers and a sister-in-law, Wayne Cooper, Glen Cooper, Alvin and Cynthia Cooper, all of Cohutta, Leon Cooper of Chatsworth; grandson, Jonathan Cooper of Chatsworth.
The funeral to honor the life of Mr. Cooper will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene James officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 until 9 p.m.
