C. Alberta (Weyman) Ammon, 91, of Beaver, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 8, 2012. She was currently a resident of Cambridge Village, Patterson Twp.

Born April 9, 1921, in Cranberry Twp., Butler County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Garvin) Weyman. A lifelong resident of Beaver, she retired in 1981 after 17 years of service as a cafeteria employee with Beaver Area School District. She was a member and deacon at Vanport Presbyterian Church. Alberta was a member of the Crusaders Group and loved attending Bible studies at her church. She traveled our beautiful country with her husband, Ralph, who passed away, December 11, 2011. She also enjoyed cooking and crafts.

Preceding her in death are her husband of 69 ½ years, Ralph A. Ammon; her beloved grandson, Matthew Quay Ammon; three brothers, Newton (Jeanetta), Lester (Margaret) and Vernard (Ann) Weyman and three sisters, Dorothy Goehring, Pearl Weyman and Edith Reinhart.
